Arab noises

3 Adar Bet 5774 Yer.

I noticed something consciously recently, which I had for a long time only noticed sub-consciously. Namely, that many Arabs  communicate with noises. Types of grunts, yelps, howls, whistles, and bird noises. If you have any doubt about this, spend an hour near a building site where a number of Arab workers are working.

I am not being derogatory at all, in fact I think there is a lot of wisdom in communication methods like these, I believe the American Indians used them too.

Sometimes you see an Arab man enter a supermarket or someplace, and almost imperceptibly, he makes a little warble or tweet, which you hardly realize where it came from, but he is communicating something to someone.
